Detailed introduction
CK-MB is a dimeric enzyme critical for high-energy phosphate bond production in contractile tissues. CK-MB is predominantly found in myocardial cell cytoplasm and is released into the bloodstream 4–6 hours after myocardial injury, peaking at 16–24 hours and returning to normal within 2–3 days. It provides an extended diagnostic window. CK-MB is also minimally present in skeletal muscle. Elevated CK-MB levels accurately reflect the extent of myocardial infarction, and peak timing aids in evaluating thrombolytic therapy efficacy.
▏Intended Use
It is used for in vitro quantitative detection of CK-MB in human serum, plasma, or whole blood.
▏Storage And Stability
Store the kit sealed and protected from light at 4°C–30°C. Shelf life: 24 months.
After opening, use within 1 hour under conditions of ≤60% humidity and 10°C–30°C.
