▎Flu A&B Ag Combo Rapid Detection Kit
The influenza virus, commonly known as the flu virus, is a single-stranded negative-sense RNA virus that causes respiratory infections in humans and animals. It belongs to the Orthomyxoviridae family. Influenza viruses associated with human infections are classified into three types based on the antigenicity of their nucleoproteins: influenza A virus, influenza B virus, and influenza C virus. Among these, influenza A virus frequently undergoes antigenic variation, has high transmissibility, spreads rapidly, and is prone to causing large-scale epidemics. Influenza viruses are primarily transmitted through airborne droplets, person-to-person contact, or contact with contaminated objects. Typical clinical symptoms include sudden high fever, body aches, significant fatigue, and mild respiratory symptoms. The virus is most prevalent during the autumn and winter seasons, and the complications and mortality associated with it can be severe.
▎Intended Use
It is used for in vitro qualitative detection of influenza A and B virus antigens in human oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal swab samples.
▎Storage And Stability
- Store in a dry place, protected from light, at 2~30°C. Do not freeze.
- The shelf life is 24 months.
