Detailed introduction
Myo is an iron-containing porphyrin homologous intracellular pigment protein found in the cytoplasm of skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle tissues, containing a polypeptide chain composed of 153 amino acid residues and a heme prosthetic group. The myoglobin content in normal human blood is very low, and the early stage of myocardial cell damage can affect its cell membrane structure, increase its permeability, and myoglobin leaks out of the cell, thus increasing the level of myoglobin in the blood. At present, myoglobin has been widely used in the monitoring of heart diseases such as acute myocardial infarction.
▏Intended Use
It is used for in vitro quantitative detection of Myo content in human serum, plasma and whole blood.
▏Storage And Stability
Store the kit sealed and protected from light at 4°C–30°C. Shelf life: 24 months.
After opening, use within 1 hour under conditions of ≤60% humidity and 10°C–30°C.
