Detailed introduction
cTnI exists in two forms within myocardial cells: a small portion is free in the cytoplasm and is soluble, while the majority is fixed to the myofibrils as a structural protein and is insoluble. When the integrity of the cell membrane is compromised due to ischemia or hypoxia, free cTnI can quickly pass through the cell membrane into the bloodstream; the bound cTnI gradually breaks down and becomes free cTnI. Therefore, in acute myocardial infarction, cTnI can appear in the blood early and persist for a long time.
▏Intended Use
It is used for in vitro quantitative detection of cTnI in human serum, plasma, and whole blood.
▏Storage And Stability
Store the kit sealed and protected from light at 4°C–30°C. Shelf life: 24 months.
After opening, use within 1 hour under conditions of ≤60% humidity and 10°C–30°C.
